I’m a bit tired tonight as I’ve been staying up pretty late the last few nights. I’ve got some Dylan playing and I’m feeling fairly mellow (bonus points if you know which song I’m referencing in the title). I’m also nursing a Smirnoff Ice.

Not too much has been going on the last couple of days. There is a chance that I (along with 10-11 other guys from my chorus) may be singing the National Anthem at the Chicago White Sox game this Friday night, but we’re still waiting to hear back from our contact. The people that were supposed to do it canceled this week and they need someone to fill in quick. Even though we are tentatively scheduled to take the chorus out there to sing in August, we can hardly say no when the Club comes calling.

We’re supposed to be moving desks around at the office too, but thats not exactly exciting. We’ll hopefully move tomorrow, but its dependent on the people that are currently in there moving out first. I think it will actually be kind of a nice change as we’ll be moving closer to some of the other people in our department making for a more social environment. The downside is that I think I’m going to get stuck with the desk right in front of the board room which means all the higher ups will be trapsing by me on a regular basis.

Must…look…attentive…when…CEO…walks…by….aaaarrrggghhhh!!!

If I get enough motivation, I may actually try and clean the apartment this weekend. If I had a magic eight ball it would probably say outlook hazy, but you never know. I’ve also Tivo’d a few movies over the last week or so, so maybe I’ll just veg out and watch some of them too.

Well, its 10:42pm and I think I’ll start mosying towards the bedroom. Maybe I can fall asleep before 1am tonight.
